Lost dog, help out?

Recently my neighbours' second dog has 'gone lost' or run away. The dog before that dog was thrown away by their grandmother. The question is, where is Nelly? In my other blog, I wrote a story about Nelly and now, he's disappeared! Well in case you're wondering what he looks like, these photos are here to help out. (May lost the camera cip in which Nelly's photos were in, so for the time being, here are backup photos that aren't exactly Nelly) These images are taken from some adoption site but because they look like him, I have no choice..

He is very timid, and he is about 4-6 months old if my calculations are correct. Nelly is a mongrel but his colours are black and brown. He is black in the face, not like the photo..should I edit the photos? Anyway, if he was a different breed, I think he would be a Rottweiler or a Doberman, but he isn't. He is quite small, teenagerish and I love him. Well, the neighbour says that he ran away but I'm not too sure... Why would their grandmother throw away an older brown dog and get another smaller black brown dog???! So I have my doubts, I just want to find him. But that isn't that easy ya know..
